The VN800 is a mobile IGP chipset. The device offers the latest in VIA mobile technologies such as the highly efficient VIA V4 bus interface, VIA Flexi-Bus Technology, advanced power management features and support for DDR2. The VN800 features a high bandwidth VIA V4 bus to allow communication between the North and South bridges at 533MB/sec. When combined with solutions such as the market-leading VN800 South Bridge and a broad array onf VIA companion chips, the VN800 provides a comprehensive range of storage, multimedia and connectivity features, including native Serial ATA and support for 6-channel or 8-channel VIA Vinyl Audio, VIA Velocity Gigabit Ethernet and wireless LAN connectivity, USB2.0, and 1394.
